Travellers out of Toronto's Pearson airport may want to double check their flight plans after a "power bump" led to flight delays and long lines Thursday morning in Terminal 1.

The self check-in computers were down at the terminal early this morning, which has created a backlog at check-in counters. The power outage appears to have lasted for at least a couple of hours, starting at around 4 a.m. ET.

Just before 6:30 a.m., Pearson airport officials tweeted that power had been fully restored at the airport, but recommended that passengers still check their flight information with their airline.

Some flights had already been delayed at the airport but it's unclear whether it was linked to the outage.

An Air Canada representative told CBC News that passengers should expect delays at Canada's largest airport today.
