Toronto man wanted for murder surrenders to police

Toronto police have charged a 19-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing last December.

Toronto police have laid charges in connection with the slaying of a 23-year-old man last December.

Glenton Gibson was stabbed to death inside an apartment building on Bleecker Street, near Wellesley Street East and Sherbourne Street on the afternoon of Dec. 20, 2012.

A second man was badly injured in the attack.

At the time police said they believed a confrontation took place inside the apartment. The victims then left the apartment and were found outside.

On Friday, Trestan Brown, 19, of Toronto surrendered to police and was charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder.
