A Toronto man died early Saturday morning after an industrial accident at a shipping company in Ajax, Ont.
The 54-year-old man was hit and killed by a truck in the loading dock area of Atlas Logistics on Bayly St.
A man from Oshawa was driving the truck and was in the process of tracking down a pickup form the loading dock.
The Toronto man was taken to the hospital by ambulance but later died from his injuries.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Police are investigating the scene and collected evidence. The Ontario Ministry of Labour was contacted and partook in the investigation.
Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the accident contact the Duham police, and are offering a $2,000 cash reward for pertinent information.
