Toronto fire probes flood-related building collapse
Toronto firefighters were at the scene of a collapsed building in the city’s west end on Tuesday afternoon, the damage an apparent result of Monday's heavy flooding.
Police first responded to the building collapse on Monday but firefighters returned to the scene on Tuesday due to reports of a slight natural gas smell.
Photos showed the building, located at 62 Belfield Rd., near Kipling Avenue and Highway 401, with a collapsed roof and rear wall.
Police are asking people to stay away from the area.
