Toronto is likely to see more snow fall on its streets, but not until Family Day comes to a close.
The CBC’s Ross Hull reports that the weather will be clear for the daylight hours, but the snow will begin to arrive late Monday night.
"It will likely be heavy at times," he said Sunday night.
Hull said that it looks like the Greater Toronto Area could see up to 10 centimetres of snowfall accumulation by Tuesday afternoon.
It also appears that the temperature will be gradually creeping into the plus range as the week progresses, with a daily high of 2 C projected for Wednesday.
