Toddler critical after being found in Stouffville pool

York Regional Police say that a male toddler has been taken to hospital after being found in a pool that was under construction.

Police were called to a home in Stouffville just after 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

The 21-month-old child has a pulse and is breathing, but is in critical condition.

Police say that the boy’s parents were home today and no foul play is suspected.
