Taste of the Danforth celebrates 21 years this weekend

Toronto's Greektown is hosting its 21st year of the Krinos Taste of the Danforth, the city’s largest street festival.

The festival held annually in August stretches over three days and welcomes approximately 1.5 million people.

Thousands helped kick off the event on Friday, celebrating Greek culture music and most notably food.

At least three of the candidates vying to be mayor tweeted about their time at the festival.
