Toronto police are asking the public to help them identify a suspect in an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

The incident happened at a park in the area of Lakeshore Boulevard West and Strachan Avenue around 5 a.m. on July 30th. A woman met a stranger on the road who sexually assaulted her and attacked her with a knife, according to police.

The woman escaped, police said. 

The suspect is described as a white man between the age of 25 to 35. He has tanned skin, short, black hair, a round face, black/brown eyes,a large nose, a thin chin strap beard and bushy eyebrows. 

He was wearing dark pants at the time. 

Police have released a composite drawing of the suspect.
