Peel Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection to two sexual assaults in Brampton.

A 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on May 13 at around 4 p.m. while walking on greenbelt pathway between Queen Mary Drive and McLaughlin Road in Brampton. She struggled with the suspect who then fled the scene.

On May 28 at around the same time of day a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while walking on the same pathway. She struggled with the suspect, who again, fled the scene on foot.

The description of the suspect was the same in both cases and matches that of the boy under arrest.

The youth was arrested by the Special Victim’s Unit Saturday and charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of forcible confinement and uttering threats.

The name of the suspect has been withheld under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
