Two disruptions to TTC service will make it difficult for some subway riders to get around downtown on Sunday.
The TTC will shut down the Bloor-Danforth line between St. George and Pape stations between 9 a.m. ET and noon on Sunday. Shuttle buses will be running instead.
- TTC had 18,000 accidents in 4 years
- TTC updated on Union Station construction projects
- Toronto, Canada's second worst city for traffic congestion
Also, subway trains will not stop at Union Station on the Yonge-University-Spadina line due to on-going construction. Service at the King and St. Andrew stations will not be affected.
Also this weekend, the Taste of Lawrence festival in Scarborough has closed Lawrence Avenue East from Birchmount Road to Warden Avenue until midnight on Sunday.
