String of dumpster fires in Scarborough

Police are investigating at least three dumpster fires at schools in Scarborough overnight.

Police are investigating at least three dumpster fires in Scarborough overnight.

Two of the three happened at public schools.

One happened outside Pauline Johnson Junior Public School near Warden and Sheppard. Another fire was set outside St. Andrews Public School near Ellesmere and McCowan.

Police say there was at least one more dumpster fire in the area, but did not give a time or location.

Police are investigating them all as ''suspicious''.

The Toronto District School Board has reported five dumpster fires to police in the last few days.

The schools were not damaged.
