Slain Zimbabwean woman came to Toronto to study accounting

A woman from Zimbabwe who came to Toronto to study accounting is the city’s latest homicide victim, police said Tuesday.
In a news release issued Tuesday afternoon, police identified 23-year-old Nyumwai Caroline Mkurazhizha as the woman who was strangled on the weekend.
The woman was pronounced dead in hospital on Saturday, after police found the victim "suffering from apparent trauma to the body" in a Clancy Drive home.
Police have said that the cause of her death was "manual strangulation."
Mohamed Adam Bharwani, 18, of Toronto, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Mkurazhizha had recently moved to Toronto for school.
She was enrolled in her first year of an accounting program at the London School of Business & Finance, which is located in Yonge and Eglinton area.
A school official told CBC News that Mkurazhizha was due to enroll for her second year of the program next month.
