Sarah Taylor is doing everything she can to help her husband, Keith Childrehose, get the new set of lungs he desperately needs.

The Oakville woman has started a social media campaign to draw attention to his situation.

Childrehose is in hospital, hooked up to a ventilator, taking things one breathe at a time.

"At this point we need a set of lungs that are the right blood type and compatable size for his body," said Taylor.

The 41-year-old has been living with a rare lung disease for most of his adult life, but just last week things took a turn for worse, soon after his wife started her social media campaign: on Twitter, Facebook and a blog.

Taylor began posting videos and messages about Childrehose's condition and the need for more organ donors in Ontario.

"My other frustration was that 9.1 million people in Ontario are not registered as organ donors," she said.

Sarah doesn't have a million followers yet, but her Facebook page - Lungs for Keith to breathe - is getting lots of 'likes.'

"I'm doing this for Keith first, but close behind, are the hundreds of other families that are waiting," she said.
