Woman, 89, dies after Avenue and Lawrence collision

An elderly woman has died after being struck by a vehicle northeast of Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue West.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Fairlawn Avenue and Elm Road on Monday at around 3 p.m.
The woman, who was 89, was struck and trapped by a vehicle, EMS told CBC News.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved was an 88-year-old woman. No charges have been laid.
