A Toronto transit bus caught fire on a downtown street Wednesday evening, with video capturing images of flames and smoke billowing from the engine compartment.

No one was hurt in the fire, which broke out on the No. 65 bus near Parliament Street and King Street East just after 7 p.m.

The Toronto Transit Commission says the driver noticed smoke coming out of the engine compartment and quickly got the passengers off safely.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
