Police are looking for four suspects in connection with a violent beating outside an Oshawa bar that sent a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers called to the Le Roi Bar on John Street around 2 a.m. Friday found the 27-year-old victim lying in the parking lot.

Investigators say the man, who has not been identified, was kicked and struck in his head and body after being confronted by two of the suspects.

He was transferred to a Toronto-area trauma centre after first being sent to a local hospital.

Investigators on Wednesday released descriptions for two additional suspects.

Police are looking for four white males in their late teens to mid-20s, one of whom has a brown-and-orange coloured beard.
