A 19-year-old man was struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning near Dufferin and Dupont streets.

The incident, which police describe as a hit and run, happened just before 4 a.m. ET.

Toronto police say the teen was pushing his bike when he veered onto the road for some reason.

He was hit by a dark-coloured vehicle and suffered non-life-threatening head injuries, according to police.
