Family mourns loss of father killed outside TTC station

Peter Pavlovski, 49, was supervising a group of seven workers when he was struck and killed by a subway maintenance train early Friday morning, just north of Yorkdale station.
Members of his family released a statement on Sunday, saying they are still coming to grips with "the tragic and untimely death" of Pavlovski, a veteran TTC worker who was well-respected by his colleagues.
"Peter was a dedicated father and a loving husband," his family said in the statement.
"He was a hard worker and generous to a fault."
His family is asking for privacy as they deal with their loss.
