A man has been charged with impaired driving following a deadly crash involving a truck and a motorcycle in Vaughan, north of Toronto.

The 45-year-old Richmond Hill man driving the bike was killed in the collision with a pickup truck, which occurred around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on a Highway 400 off-ramp (at Major Mackenzie Drive).

York Region Police say a 30-year-old Toronto man has been charged with impaired driving causing death and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

He is scheduled to appear Thursday in a Newmarket court.
