(Toronto Police)Toronto police are looking for a suspect after two women reported being sexually assaulted in their west-end homes early Friday morning and a third apparently foiled another attempt.
Police say the first incident involved a 62-year-old woman who said a man broke in as she was sleeping and then sexually assaulted her just after 3 a.m.
About 20 minutes later, a 49-year-old woman who was awake in her home reported seeing a man trying to break in. The man fled from the area.
Ten minutes after that, a 70-year-old woman said she was sleeping in her home when a man broke in and sexually assaulted her.
The Toronto police have released security footage of the suspect.
Police spent Friday night canvassing the Bloor Street West and Islington Avenue Area warning residents, especially women, to lock their doors and stay alert.
The incidents all took place between 3 and 4 a.m. on Friday morning.
The suspect is described as tanned or with a darker complexion, five feet eight inches tall with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a white cloth or T-shirt that covers his face and head but exposes his eyes.
