Police in Durham region have arrested two teens in connection with a vandalism spree against bus shelters in Scarborough, Pickering and Ajax.

In total 34 bus shelters had their panes of tempered glass shattered.

There were 19 bus shelters vandalized in Scarborough and 15 in Ajax and Pickering.

The two 17-year-old males were also charged in connection with 13 incidents of damage to vehicles on Aug. 13-14.

The teens cannot be identified under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
