Toronto man dragged by taxi

A man is in hospital after being hit by a taxi in downtown Toronto.
Police said it happened around 2 a.m. Saturday on Mercer Street, in front of a nightclub in the entertainment district.
The man was dragged behind the cab for three to five metres and was unconsious when taken to hospital.
There's no word on his condition or identity, or if any charges are pending.
