Woman killed in single-vehicle crash on Neilson Road

Toronto police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed a woman’s life in the east end on Monday evening.
Sgt. Duncan Miller told CBC News that a driver lost control of her vehicle while moving south on Neilson Road, near Keeler Boulevard, just before 6 p.m.
The vehicle spun out and struck both a tree and a TTC post.
Miller said the driver died at the scene.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
