A Toronto man is facing charges after police discovered a group of drug labs in a Scarborough condo building earlier this week.
Police were alerted to the presence of a drug lab on the 30th floor of the building at 190 Borough Dr., after a complaint was made about a water leak.
When it was discovered that the unit was home to a clandestine laboratory, an investigation was launched and the drug lab was dismantled.
But the investigation led police to two other units in the same building.
According to a police news release, one of these units was determined to be another laboratory while the other “had evidence of drug production.”
Police say a 30-year-old man located in one of the units was arrested.
He faces three criminal counts, including producing a controlled substance.
The accused was due to appear in a court on Thursday.
The investigation into the drug labs continues.
