Paulie the parrot is missing.
Toronto police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a large adult male, green-winged Macaw parrot.
The bird disappeared from a home in the city's east end on Wednesday night during a robbery.
Police say thieves broke into a house near Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East, and wheeled the caged bird onto the porch.
It's not clear if the thieves took the bird with them, but Paulies owner is worried the colourful bird may have broken free and flown away.
She says Paulie is not very friendly and most likely would bite anyone trying to take him from his cage.
