An off-duty police officer is on life-support after her motorcycle collided with an SUV northwest of Toronto on the weekend.

Ewa Domagalska was rushed to hospital Saturday, after a collision on Airport Road, north of Highway 9.

She remained in critical condition as of late Sunday afternoon.

Domagalska is a constable with Peel Regional Police.

Const. George Tudos told reporters Sunday that Domagalska is in her early 30s and has worked for Peel Regional Police since 2005.

“Obviously, it’s a tough time for us all, a very emotional time for both family and for the organization,” Tudos said.

“We are like a family, as well, too, and everyone is here hoping that we do get some good news.”
