Mississauga mother charged in death of infant son

Police in Mississauga, Ont., have charged a mother with first-degree murder in the death of her four-month old baby son.
On Wednesday morning at about 10 a.m., emergency crews responded to a 911 call at an address on Golden Hills Way in Mississauga, near McLaughlin and Derry roads.
Inside they found the four-month-old Alexander Platonov dead. His mother, Corinne Platonov, has been charged with first-degree murder. She is scheduled to appear in a Brampton, Ont., court on Thursday.
