Highway 407 customer service staff on strike
Contract dispute will have no effect on commute, management says

Customer service staff at the company that runs Highway 407 are on strike but 407 ETR (Express Toll Route) says it will not have an impact on commuting.
Vice president Kevin Sack said the approximately 100 striking workers mostly come from the company's call centre.
"If our customers are going to call the call centre for service, they can probably expect reduced hours today and [a] slightly longer waiting time is possible," he said.
The workers are represented by CAW Local 414.
