Man killed in overnight shooting

Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead and a woman in hospital in northwest Toronto.
One man is dead and a woman is in hospital following a shooting in Toronto's northwest. (Tony Smyth/CBC) Police responded to a call at a ninth floor apartment building at 333 Sidney Belsey Cres. in the Jane Street and Weston Road area around midnight.
Officers found a 55-year-old man in the apartment with no vital signs. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A female was also admitted to hospital with head injuries.
Police continue to investigate the incident but have released few details.
