The body of a woman reported missing from Toronto was found in Caledon late last week, Ontario Provincial Police said Sunday.
Police are appealing to the public for information from anyone who may have last seen Kera Freeland. Police have identified the woman as Kera Freeland, 20 — also known as Kera Gray. She lived in the Toronto area for a few months but was originally from Alberta.
Freeland was last seen in the city in the middle of January.
Caledon OPP said a jogger discovered the remains on Thursday in a ditch at the side of Heart lake Road.
The cause of death was not made public.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Caledon OPP Crime Unit at 905-857-3304.
