The man was shot multiple times at around 9:45 p.m., according to Toronto police.
"When [police] arrived here, they found a male party who was suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS arrived here shortly to provide medical attention to him," Insp. Gary Cashman said.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital from the townhouse complex near Sheppard Avenue West and Jane Street, but later died.
Cashman said police are looking for two male suspects who were seen fleeing the area.
The death marks the 55th homicide in Toronto in 2010.
Over the weekend, there were at least eight separate gun-related incidents, including a homicide and an innocent bystander being critically injured.
