Steeles Avenue in Toronto has gone from worst to best in the CAA's annual list of roads.

In the past two surveys, Steeles Avenue was picked as the worst road in Ontario.

This year, it tops the list of best roads.

Eight Toronto roads are among those picked as the worst in the province, while seven — including Highway 407 — made the best list.

The new worst road is Pelican Falls Road in Sioux Lookout, followed by Vermillion Lake Road in Sudbury, Lawrence Avenue and Finch Avenue in Toronto and Burlington Street in Hamilton.

Following Steeles Avenue on the best list are Leslie Street in Toronto, Highway 407, Anne Street in Barrie and Red Hill Valley Parkway in Hamilton.
