(Dwight Friesen/CBC) CBC Toronto hosted a mayoral debate Tuesday evening during which each of the four candidates in attendance was asked to detail their vision for the city.
The debate is available in its entirety in three 30-minute segments:

The Toronto Community Foundation's newly released Vital Signs report was used as a springboard for discussion by candidates Rob Ford, Joe Pantalone, Rocco Rossi and George Smitherman.
The major themes of the debate included:
- Incorporating newcomers to Toronto.
- A vision for transit.
- The need for a mayor who can think and act globally.
The discussion took place at the CBC Broadcasting Centre's Glenn Gould Studio and was moderated by Metro Morning host Matt Galloway.
