Police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant Chael Mills, pictured above, in connection with the shooting death of Mitchell Leton Celise. (Toronto Police Service)Toronto police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the shooting death of a teen in the west end around two weeks ago.
Police arrested Lavare Williams, 18, on Wednesday and charged him with first degree murder in the death of Mitchell Leton Celise, 17, of Toronto.
Celise was shot and killed near Oakwood Avenue and St. Clair Avenue West on May 3.
Williams, also a Toronto resident, made a court appearance on Thursday.
Police have also issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Chael Mills, 19, who is still at large. He faces a first-degree murder charge.
Police are advising Mills to consult a lawyer and contact them. They are warning members of the public not to approach him, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
