Two men accused of robbing a dying woman in her Toronto hospital room face 237 criminal charges.

The charges against Marcos Marinoni, 26, and Isaac Lewkowicz, 29, range from possession of credit cards and property obtained by crime to theft and conspiracy.

Lewkowicz also faces charges of drug possession, break and enter, and failing to comply with a probation order.

The charges were laid by police from Toronto, as well as Peel and York regions.

The two men were arrested after $7,000 in jewelry was taken from the hospital room of an 83-year-old woman moments before she died.

The family of Edna Davis had left the room to get coffee, and when they returned, the jewelry was gone. As the family was filling out a police report, Davis died.
