Woman and baby pushed toward subway tracks

A Toronto woman is accused of trying to push a mother and her baby towards the subway tracks at the TTC's Bay subway station Friday morning.
Police said the 33-year-old mother was walking on the westbound platform with her six-month-old baby around 11:40 a.m. when a woman pushed them towards the tracks.
The mother managed not to fall onto the tracks.
Anne Carruthers, 49, has been charged with assault and two counts of mischief endangering life.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday morning.
