A double-decker Megabus headed for Toronto has had an accident near Buffalo, N.Y., the second such incident in less than a month.
Police in New York state said the accident happened Sunday morning on Interstate 90.
Forty people were on the bus, which was travelling from New York City to Toronto when it went off the road at about 7:15 a.m. ET. None of the passengers suffered any serious injuries.
The bus drove off the highway near Le Roy, a Buffalo suburb. The vehicle did not overturn, police said.
State troopers said the driver was ticketed for failing to maintain his lane.
Less than two weeks ago, on Dec. 10, another Megabus travelling between New York City and Toronto overturned after it went off Interstate 90. Thirteen people were injured.
That accident also happened near Buffalo, and occurred during a snowstorm and in high winds.
Megabus.com offers cut-rate trips on its double-decker buses between Toronto and cities in New York state, including New York City, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
