Levi Samuel Aggek, 33, was wanted for second-degree murder after the body of Spring Phillips, 26, was found by police in an apartment near Wellesley Street and Sherbourne Street about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The body had obvious signs of trauma, police said Sunday.

Aggek, who has been in Toronto for three months, was arrested at a Toronto shelter and charged later Sunday.
