Toronto police are investigating the possible abduction of a young woman from outside a hotel near Pearson International Airport.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning, witnesses outside the Marriott Airport Hotel near Carlingview Road and Dixon Road saw two men approach the woman, police said.
One of the men grabbed her and threw her into the rear seat a vehicle. Both men got into the vehicle, which sped away southbound on Carlingview Avenue, according to witness accounts.
"It's apparent to the witnesses that the men and the woman didn't know each other, and the woman was trying to walk away from them when a car approached," Toronto police Const. Wendy Drummond told CBC News.
Witnesses couldn't describe the vehicle.
The woman, who hasn't been identified, is described as short, with thin build, between the ages of 18–22.
She was wearing a dark headscarf, a puffy pink jacket with a light-coloured stripe on the side and dark pants, police said.
