Senior's death in Toronto ruled a homicide

A 67-year-old man found dead in a home in downtown Toronto is the city's 48th homicide of the year.
Police found the body of Gerald Robert Brown in a home at 144 Bedford Rd., on Wednesday afternoon.
Toronto police said there were "obvious signs of trauma" and initially called the death suspicious.
The case has now been upgraded to a homicide and a post-mortem is scheduled to determine a cause of death.
No arrests have been made.
