WLU student dies after fire at residence

A 19-year-old student from Toronto who was studying at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ont., has died from burns suffered in a residence fire on April 14.
David LaForest died Sunday in the burn unit of Hamilton General Hospital.
Fire officials suspect the fire started in LaForest's fourth-floor room.
More than 300 students have been forced to find other accommodation until damage to the residence is repaired.
