Peel Regional Police have charged 47-year-old Kamikar Singh Dhillon with killing his daughter-in-law.
The body of Amandeep Kaur Dhillon, 22, was found in the family's store on Airport Road on New Year's Day.
Police were called at about 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 and found Amandeep Dhillon inside Airport Foods. She had been stabbed to death.
Kamikar Dhillon was also found inside the store with non-life-threatening stab wounds and taken to hospital.
He was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder.
Dhillon was the mother of a 22-month-old son who lives with family in India.
