Toronto police said Friday they are looking for about six teenagers wanted in a string of robberies at subway stations this week.
The teenagers stole jewelry, money, iPods and metropasses.
Police said they have already arrested four teenagers in connection with the robberies, which occurred on the Bloor and Yonge subway lines on Wednesday afternoon in stairwells and on subway platforms.
Police said about 10 teenagers around 15 years old were involved. In some cases, the robberies were violent, with the teens elbowing and punching people in the face. The thieves were said to be dressed in red and black clothing.
The robberies began at about 4 p.m. ET and continued until 6 p.m. ET, when the four young people were arrested at Christie Station, police said.
Police said several people reported being robbed, and they helped to identify the four arrested suspects.
