After another winter storm dumped 20 centimetres on Toronto, some people in the city say they have had enough.

Environment Canada says the GTA has had about 70 centimetres of snow in February — three times the normal amount for the month.

The city warns it could take another two weeks before all the snow from the past week is removed from streets.

The persistent snowfalls this year are not only putting a strain on the snow removal team but are also having an effect on Torontonians in general.

"In the old days, they used to say 'You're under the weather.'  Maybe this is what it means," said Mickey DaCosta as he shoveled and salted his walkway in downtown Toronto Tuesday. "You're under the weather, meaning you've had enough, and it's depressing."

The remnants from three separate storms have turned many parts of the city into a winter obstacle course of waist-high snow banks, sidewalks covered in shin-deep snow and sheets of ice on roads and sidewalks that are a dangerous challenge to cross.

Resident John McHenry says he's ready for summer. "I was tired of winter a month ago," he said.

While many can relate to McHenry's winter fatigue, others say Torontonians have to remember where they live.

"I don't think we need to send out the army, " said one woman.

Environment Canada is predicting more snow on Thursday.
