Toronto man dies in industrial accident

A 50-year-old man is dead following an industrial accident early Friday at a supermarket in north-end Toronto.
Police said that, at about 10 a.m., the victim was operating a lift device at Tuong Phat Supermarket on Finch Avenue West, near Bathurst Street, when the machine flipped on top of him.
Police and officials from the Ministry of Labour are looking into how and why the lift device flipped.
The victim's family has requested that his name not be released.
