"We continue to be amazed by the support from our fans," the club's director of business Paul Beirne said in a release.
The team sold 14,000 season tickets for its debut season.
Toronto enjoyed vociferous support despite finishing last in the MLS with a 6-17-7 record, a season that included a host of injuries and a goalless streak of more than eight games.
Last week, Toronto midfielder Maurice Edu was named the league's rookie of the year.
