Family, friends hold vigil for missing Toronto woman

The search for a missing Toronto woman in a rugged northwestern Ontario park entered the 10th day on Thursday after family and friends held a vigil to pray for her return.
Police and search crews have been scouring the Rainbow Falls Provincial Park near Schreiber for any sign of Christina Calayca.
Christina Calayca was last seen jogging near Rainbow Falls Provincial Park on the north shore of Lake Superior.

Calayca, 20, was last seen on Aug. 6. as she went for a jog near the entrance of the park, on the north shore of Lake Superior about 200 kilometres east of Thunder Bay.
More than 500 people gathered on Wednesday night for the vigil inside an east-end Toronto church.
Her father, Mario Calayca, had just returned from the park, where he spent the past 48 hours talking to police, riding in an OPP helicopter and observing the search efforts.
Calayca said he told his daughter in his prayers to stay in one place.
"I make peace," he told CBC News Wednesday. "I said to myself, 'If she's there, she'll come home. If she's not there, I hope she didn't suffer.'"
Xavier DeGuzman said he hopes his childhood friend is just missing and not something worse.
"She's very, very trusting of everybody," he said. "We hope she's already trusting the right people so we just hope she hasn't gotten herself into a big mess this time."
Police have said there's no evidence to indicate foul play in Calayca's disappearance.
