Another winter storm is expected to blow into much of southern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area starting Tuesday morning.

A storm brewing in Oklahoma on Monday morning is expected to intensify as it moves to the lower Great Lakes area, Environment Canada said.

Snow is likely to begin falling in Ontario early Tuesday morning and continue into the night, with accumulations of between 10 and 20 centimetres.

A winter storm watch was issued Monday morning by Environment Canada for areas including Windsor, Sarnia, Hamilton and London.

Environment Canada warns that strong winds and cold temperatures might cause blizzard-like conditions.

Cold weather arrived late in much of southern Ontario, but over the past few weeks high wind chill values and snow squalls have brought a blast of wintry weather.
