Another of the 17 bomb-plot suspects from the Toronto area has been denied bail, but his family's lawyer said his client will likely seek a review of the decision.
A justice of the peace issued the ruling against Asad Ansari, 21, of Mississauga on Thursday morning in a courtroom in Brampton.
Reasons for the decision cannot be released because of a publication ban.
Outside the courtroom, Ansari's lawyer said his client was devastated by the ruling and plans to seek a second bail hearing before a judge.
Ansari was one of 12 adults and five youths arrested June 2 and 3 for alleged terrorist activities.
He faces charges of participating in and receiving training with a terrorist group, and plotting to cause an explosion.
So far, two teens and 21-year-old Ahmad Ghany have been released on bail under strict conditions.
The youngest suspect was released after a justice of the peace's decision to deny bail was overturned by a provincial judge.
