Space Jam to come to life in live reading during NBA All-Star weekend

If you can't catch the East take on the West at the Air Canada Centre during the NBA All-Star weekend, the next best thing is a match-up between the Looney Tunes and Monstars.

Could a Michael Jordan and Bill Murray reunion be in the mix?

If you can't catch the East take on the West at the Air Canada Centre during the NBA All-Star weekend, the next best thing is a match-up between the Looney Tunes and Monstars.

TIFF is hosting a live read of '90s favourite Space Jam onFeb. 13, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, as a part of its Next Wave festival.

It is promising an "exciting lineup" of sports and entertainment stars. For its Princess Bride reading during TIFF last year, it included the likes of Cary Elwes (the original Westley), Donald Glover and Rachel McAdams. So could a Michael Jordan and Bill Murray reunion be in the mix? Or given who will be in town — some star basketball players and Drake?

Tickets for non-TIFF members go on sale Jan. 27.
